In this course students will apply documentary collection and letter of credit processes in case-based scenarios. They will also develop the capability of applying the terms of trade including transportation routing via major shipping routes and build expertise in loading cargo into containers both for ship and air modes of transportation. The course also details issues related to export packaging cargo security handling dangerous goods and transportation insurance. Procedures for shipping and receiving through a warehouse as well as an introduction to the Canada Customs Process will be outlined.
