In this course students apply the steps necessary to transform an idea from a vision into a viable business. Topics include conceptualization, understanding the market and customer needs, analyzing the competition, the transition from an informal to a formal organizational structure, financing the business and developing realistic budgets. Further, students will investigate the effect communication has on presentation outcome, and how implementing marketing techniques, using presentation software and effective writing strategies create a positive impact in business settings.
