Students enrolled in this course will be introduced to the programming of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machines using fully integrated Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM) software. Concepts of point to point, planar milling, cavity milling, rough to depth and fixed axis contouring machining will be covered. Machine set-ups and demonstrations will be introduced for part manufacturing.
