This course is designed to introduce the student to a study of visual communication particularly anatomy and proportion of the human body. Emphasis is on studying the major bones of the body to understand how the body is built. Additional components of the course include anatomical drawing, foreshortening, measured drawing, balance and proportion applied to the figure. Student will discover his/her interpretive and analytical skills by initiating a life drawing portfolio and a sketchbook.
