This fourth, classroom-setting course, further advances the students' study and knowledge of more specialized techniques, procedures and practical skills required to work in the Horticulture Industry. More advanced study, including I.P.M. and Best Management Practices for greenhouse, nursery and interior plantscape production and maintenance, will take place. A list of more specialized horticultural crops will be identified and studied. Production of a specifically chosen crop will be researched, scheduled, and produced by each student. Health and safety practices and procedures related to the profession will also be emphasized.
