This course presents information about psychological topics in human development. Content includes developmental theory, research and descriptions of the cognitive, physical, emotional and social factors that define and influence all stages of adult development. This course will assist students in applying knowledge about the bio-psycho-social model to promote the health and well-being of people with developmental disabilities throughout adulthood., Students will also explore topics relevant to death, dying and bereavement.
