Professional Office Simulations | St. Clair College
This course provides the student with the opportunity to integrate advanced aspects of office procedures essential to a successful Administrative Assistant. Students will plan typical business events, compose complex office documents and reports, select relevant information from meetings for summary notes (i.e. note-taking), and apply research skills to office situations. In a series of simulated office experiences, students will analyze training and travel needs, assess relevant ergonomic issues, and understand laws and statutes in regard to confidentiality, copyright, purchasing, and tendering. This course will prepare the students for the Office Internship component of their program.
