Appeal Process Terms and Conditions

  • Forms must be filled out in its entirety in order to be accepted. Incomplete appeals will be rejected and need to be resubmitted with correct information.
  • Request for appeals must be received within 10 business days from the date of the parking fee. Appeals received outside of this time frame will not be accepted.
  • By submitting the appeal, you are making a declaration that you hold responsibility for the vehicle and license plate listed on the appeal. Ultimately, any and all events with this vehicle will be listed under your account.
  • Appeals will be responded to within 7 business days.
  • Appeals will not be accepted for:
    • Violation of the St. Clair College Parking rules & regulations.
    • Pay and Display machine malfunction (not accept coins, out of paper, etc).
    • Lack of convenient parking or "close" parking, running late.
    • Someone other than the Parking Office personnel told you to park there.
    • Inclement weather.
  • Decisions on appeal requests are final.

Parking Fee Payments

Payments can be made in person at the Parking Office or by mail. Please make cheques payable to St. Clair College. Payments can be made in person at the Parking Office by Cash, Cheque, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Interact. Failure to pay parking fees may result in additional administrative fees. A license plate search may be conducted on the vehicle and fees will be billed to the registered owner of the vehicle. If fees remain unpaid, information may be provided to a Credit Bureau or Collection Agency to obtain payment.

Note to St. Clair College Student: Failure to pay the Parking Fee will result in your student account being encumbered. Transcripts, diplomas, course registration, etc. will be withheld until the fee and all administrative fees are paid.

To complete this form:

  1. Complete all information under Parking Fee Recipient, an email address is required to receive a decision on the appeal request.
  2. You must include the ticket number and the license plate listed on the face of the ticket.
  3. Select the type of appeal you wish to request:

    Appeal parking ticket to remove fees
    Select this option if you wish to request to reduce or remove the parking fee.

    Appeal parking ticket to extend payment date
    Select this option if you wish to request an extension of the date in which the parking fee may be paid at the reduced rate.

  4. Complete the Reason for Appeal, describe why the ticket should be appealed. Include as much detail as possible, (Times arrived, Times left, etc.).
  5. You may attach any images or supporting documents to your appeal.
  6. Certification: By checking this box you are declaring the information you have provided is factual and complete. You are also indicating that you have read and understood the conditions of the appeal process as outlined above.
