Student Writing Test A variety of Testing Services are available through South (Windsor) and Thames (Chatham) Campuses.

Admission Testing
Admission Testing is available to mature applicants who have applied to a program and do not meet the academic requirements. There are two tests; the Admission Test containing both English and math, and the English Proficiency Test. A referral from the Registrar’s is required before booking the appropriate test. Test Invigilation
Test Invigilation is available for a fee of $50.00 per sitting to anyone in the community requiring a test facilitator to administer and proctor and/or provide test results for another college, university or company, etc.

Accommodated Testing for Students with Disabilities
Students with disabilities registered with the Disabilities Services Office (DSO) may be eligible for accommodations when taking tests and exams. Accommodations may include extended time and use of assistive technology. Students at South Campus and St. Clair Centre for the Arts should contact the DSO in the Learning Commons at South Campus. Students at Thames Campus and Wallaceburg Campus should contact the DSO in Student Services at Thames Campus.

TESTING AT SOUTH CAMPUS (WINDSOR):

HOW DO I BOOK A TEST TO WRITE IN THE LEARNING COMMONS?
Fill out a Request for Test form. Test bookings are not taken by phone. These forms can be found outside the doors of the Learning Commons or on our website. Tests are to be booked 48 hours in advance.
The forms can be submitted in one of 3 ways:
  1. Put the form in either one of the two drop boxes outside the doors to the Learning Commons OR
  2. Place the form in the basket located at the reception desk inside the Learning Commons OR
  3. If using the online form mail the completed form to lcommons@stclaircollege.ca

Make-Up Tests
A $25.00 fee applies. The receipt for payment can be found outside the Learning Commons. Bring the receipt for payment to Room 345. A copy of the receipt is then given to the proctor at the time of your test. You MUST provide proof of payment in order to write your make-up test.

We now have an electronic drop box for tests!  You can email your tests to proctor@stclaircollege.ca.  Don't forget to send the Testing Instruction Form!

TOEIC
The TOEIC (Test of English For International Communication) is available on scheduled dates. For more information click here.

MTCU Exemption Testing
MTCU Exemption Testing is available to candidates who wish to be exempted from some or all of the formal instruction requirements by successfully completing each level Ministry approved exemption tests for any of the skilled trades.

Test Scoring
Test Scoring is provided to all faculty using Multiple Choice and/or True/False test/exams. It is on a first come first serve basis and various test reports are provided. For Testing Services Request Form, click here.

Request for Testing
To book an appointment to write a test in the Learning Commons, please fill out the Request for Testing Form and email it to lcommons@stclaircollege.ca. These forms are also available outside of the Learning Commons, Room 206 at South Campus. Testing Services are available Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm by appointment.

TESTING AT CHATHAM/WALLACEBURG CAMPUSES:

Make-up tests at the Thames (Chatham) Campus and Wallaceburg Campuses are arranged on an individual basis with the program faculty.
