Want to be a student volunteer? Besides helping
insure that the Job Fair is a success, volunteers will
have the opportunity to meet and network with employers,
while demonstrating their initiative, capabilities, and
employability in practical and useful ways!
Volunteers - What is your role?
Volunteers assist organization representatives feel
welcome and comfortable at the Job Fair. Specifically,
volunteers should be ready to respond to almost any need
an employer/representative might have (i.e., unloading
vehicles, carrying displays, helping to organize
material s for displays, answering questions, getting
water, coffee, etc.). Volunteers will have the
opportunity to leave lasting, favourable impressions with
the employer reps.
Volunteers may also assist students and alumni
attending the fair by answering a variety of questions
about the event.
