1970’s: South Campus Gets A Brand New Student Centre
It’s our 50th anniversary and there’s no better time to take a look back at what makes St. Clair College so special.
Here we ‘grow’ again…
In 1971, the college undertook construction on a $2.5-million student centre at the South Campus.
It included a large bookstore, shopping centre in the basement and cafeteria on the main floor that accommodated 1,200 students.
Also, included in the basement were classrooms, labs and a student newspaper office.
