2000’s: ‘Sim Man’ And ‘Sim Baby’ Introduced To Nursing Students
It’s our 50th anniversary here at St. Clair College and we’re taking a look back into the not so distant past…
In the 2006, the Health Sciences departments at our South and Thames campuses received $450,000 in funding to build onsite simulation labs.
Using the latest technology, Nursing and Paramedic students were able to begin training for real life medical situations such as delivering a baby or identifying life-threatening symptoms in patients.
Our simulations labs are considered some of the best in the province and are still in use today at the Centre of Applied Health Sciences which was opened in September 2011.
