2000’s: St. Clair Makes Its Way Downtown
It’s our 50th anniversary and we’re taking a look back at St. Clair College’s ever expanding footprint…
As early as 1972, Dr. Richard Quittenton, the current college president, indicated a hope that St. Clair might have a downtown presence.
It took several years, but in September 2007, the college took over the old Cleary International Centre as the first downtown campus in Windsor.
The newly named St. Clair College Centre for the Arts turned the 40,000 square foot facility into a student campus.
More than 500 students started that year studying in media and arts programs.
