A number of St. Clair College programs have additional specific admission/selection criteria that must be achieved prior to acceptance. For details on program specific admission/selection criteria, please see the appropriate program page on the web and speak with the Program Coordinator.
The Pre-Health Science program provides successful graduates with consideration for admission to the Bachelor of Science Nursing program (BScN) but does not qualify students for admission to other University programs. To be considered for admission to the BScN program, the following minimum program requirements must be achieved: cumulative average of B (70%) in all courses; combined average of B (70%) in BIO 50, BIO 51, CHM 50 & CHM 51.
The standard tuition and compulsory fees for the current academic year:
For programs with Experiential Learning (Work Placement/Internship): Costs for accommodation, if needed, travel and related expenses is at the student's own expense. It is recommended for most programs, that students have access to a laptop or desktop computer while away from home during experiential learning periods.
Please be aware that tuition and compulsory fees are subject to adjustment each year. The College reserves the right to change, amend or alter fees as necessary without notice or prejudice.
* Medical Laboratory Science applicants are required to take MTH 83 in place of MTH 63. Please see the program coordinator to make this change after your schedule has been issued. (Thames Campus Students - please consult Continuing Education course offerings to determine MTH 83 options as this course is not presently offered at Thames Campus)
** Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Laboratory Science and Respiratory Therapy applicants are required to take PHY 17 in place of SSC 164. Please see the program coordinator to make this change after your schedule has been issued.
