LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT CERTIFICATION

Green Belts facilitate teams & are critical in deploying the Six Sigma culture throughout the organization. Green Belts lead projects in their specific functional area & often serve as highly effective team members on Black Belt projects. Since a Green Belt is only required to spend 20% of their time on Six Sigma work, it allows for managers, process engineers, & quality department personnel to participate in the program.

Green Belt open enrolment training takes five months consisting of 4 training phases. There is a three-week application period after each phase, where participants return to their work environments & apply the tools & methodologies on their projects.

Program Objectives:

  • Understand Six Sigma D.M.A.I.C. problem solving methodology
  • Successfully complete small scale improvement projects in respective areas
  • Support Black Belts on high impact, cross functional projects

On-Site Support:

Master Black Belt training provides on-site project support for each participant at their location between training phases. This high-level of one-on-one support ensures the trainee's understanding & application of Six Sigma methodology. One (1) support visit is included with training & additional support days can be purchased. Participant Cost: $4,400.00. Includes 1 On-Site Support Visit (4 hours.) * A laptop and Minitab software is also required for course participants.

LEAN SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT CERTIFICATION

The Black Belt Certificate program consists of 12 days of in-class training, over a five-month period. After each training week, the participants return to their work environments & apply the tools & methodologies learned. On-site project support is available for each participant. Black Belts are the foundation of every successful Six Sigma program. They facilitate project teams & serve as technical & cultural agents for the organization.

Individuals are recognized by the organization as experts in data collection & analysis & are often called upon as internal consultants when making critical business decisions. Potential candidates should be the "best of best" & possess a willingness to learn, have a demonstrated track record for accomplishing difficult tasks & possess excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Communication skills to interact with all levels of organization
