Please remember:
- Dress appropriately for your audition (dancewear or clothing that you can comfortably move in).
- Bring your resume (with 8x10 headshot attached) outlining performance and/or theatre experience and be ready to talk to the panel about yourself, and your performance objectives.
- Bring a copy of your Music Theory Exam Certificate or be prepared to write the Music Theory test.
- Memorize your one to two minute monologue.
- Memorize two contrasting songs, both chosen from the music theatre repertoire.
- Bring the sheet music for the two contrasting songs that you will be singing (one ballad and one up tempo-music theatre) make sure the music is easy to follow, and in the appropriate key.
- The entire audition process will take approximately two hours; your time may be spent waiting for the next audition segment, therefore you may wish to bring reading material.
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.
