The Athletic Department at St. Clair College is very pleased to announce Matt Devin as its new Head Men's Basketball Coach.

Devin becomes the 6th Head Coach in the program's 42 year history and succeeds Rick Muldoon after serving as the Assistant Coach for the past 4 seasons.  Devin is a known commodity to St. Clair College along with the Windsor and Essex County community.  He played locally for St. Anne's High School and won an Ontario Provincial crown with the Riverside Falcons Club program.  Devin also went on to win a Gold Medal with the Junior Development Program (JDP) and played one season with the Wilfrid Laurier University Basketball team while studying for his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Communications.  He went on to earn his Master's of Human Kinetics-Sport Management at the University of Windsor. 

In addition to Devin's 4 seasons at St. Clair his coaching credentials include Club coach with the Wildhawk (Waterloo), Rockway Mennonite Collegiate (Kitchener), University of Windsor Women's Assistant Coach, Assistant with St. Clair Region JDP team, Duke University (Durham, NC) Boys Basketball Camp Counselor, and St. Anne's High School (Tecumseh) Assistant Coach.  He is an NCCP Level II certified Coach. 

Most notable on his resume was his Masters Internship at the renowned Duke University Athletic Department in the area of Promotions and Marketing.  He got an up close look at one of the best Men's Basketball programs in the NCAA.  Devin has worked professionally as a Financial Advisor with Dan Devin Financial Services Inc. since 2006.

He is a product of the rich basketball history in Windsor and the long line of top flight coaches that make up our community.  He had to overcome some very good coaches in gaining the Head Coach position and we look forward to the program he will create for our student-athletes at St. Clair”.
