On June 21, 2010 Blackburn Radio presented the St. Clair College Journalism Program with a donation of $25,000.

On hand for the donation were School of Media, Art & Design Chair Lorna McCormack; Richard Costley-White, President of Blackburn Radio; Lori Baldassi, Blackburn Radio Director of Community Relations; and Veronique Mandal, Coordinator of the Journalism Program.

It was Costley-White's first visit to the new MediaPlex which will welcome Journalism and Tourism and Travel students this fall.
