St. CLAIR COLLEGE HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT STUDENT WINS SHOLARSHIP

The Canadian Hospitality Foundation has selected second year St. Clair College Hospitality Management student Jonathan Vangameren as the 2008 recipient of the Kostuch Publications Scholarship in the amount of $1750. The Canadian Hospitality Foundation is Canada's largest industry-driven and funded source of scholarships for students pursuing careers in the foodservice and hospitality industry.

Each academic year, students across Canada are encouraged to apply for a number of scholarships. Faculty may nominate students for awards as well; for 2008, one student, Jonathan Vangameren, stood out. In both academic and practical activities, Jonathan represented St. Clair College’s Hospitality Management program in the most professional manner. He distinguished himself with a grade point average at the top of his class and his fellow students came to expect and appreciate his leadership. Jonathan has received his award based on the recommendation of the Hospitality Management faculty.
