On Saturday, September 10th, 2022, over 50 local companies with more than 500 team members and volunteers attended the tenth Annual Windsor Corporate Challenge. These coworkers not only work together every day, but this past weekend they challenged one another to act as one, promoting togetherness and displaying effective teamwork.
"Mehari Hagos epitomizes the type of person who merits the sort of recognition associated with an honorary degree," said St. Clair President Patti France. "For over a decade, he has dedicated his life – personally and professionally – to mentorship, advocacy, the delivery of life-lessons, and inspiring the youth of our community.
Mayor Drew Dilkens was joined by Dr. Patti France, President of St. Clair College, to formally transfer stewardship of the Dr. Bruce and Kathryn White Memorial Park, a 12.2-acre property at 3860 Lauzon Road, to the City of Windsor.
St. Clair College has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build sheds for geared-to-income housing. The students received hands on experience designing and constructing sheds for the community in need.
The president of the Windsor Goodfellows said the organization could not do the work it does without community partners like St. Clair College.
St. Clair College President Patti France welcomed more than 800 walkers Sunday at the 4th annual Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk, which started at the SportsPlex and continued on to the Herb Gray Parkway.
The final piece of the Dr. Patti France Community Promenade at our Cabana Road campus has arrived and was installed today for all to see.
