(Sudbury, Ontario) – The St. Clair College women's volleyball team travelled to Sudbury this past weekend and came away with a split to secure a spot in the OCAA Playoffs.
On Saturday, the Saints took on the College Boreal Viperes. St. Clair came away with a 3-1 win. Game scores for St. Clair were 21-12, 19-25, 25-17 and 25-13. With the loss Boreal's record fell to 0-18.
On Sunday, the Saints faced the Cambrian College Golden Shield in a battle for fourth place. St. Clair came out on the short end of this one suffering a tough 3-2 loss. Game scores for Cambrian were 28-26, 22-25, 19-25, 25-23 and 15-7. With the win Shield ended their season with a record of 10-8.
With the split the Saints have ended their regular season with a record of 10-8 and are currently in a three way tie for fourth place in the tight OCAA West Division with two other teams. The top 6 teams qualify for the playoffs.
