Golf Coach Receives John A. Strasser Coaches Award

(Windsor, Ontario) – St. Clair College congratulates Professor Kevin Corriveau who was awarded the John Albert Strasser Coaches Award at the annual St. Clair College Athletic Awards Banquet held at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts on Wednesday, April 13th.

"It is truly an honour to receive this award. I owe it all to the students, varsity athletes, my colleagues, family and friends," says Corriveau. " I am truly enriched and motivated by all of them each and every day and I am very thankful to have the opportunity to do what I do."

Corriveau, a well-known golf pro in this region, has been teaching at the College since 2006. As Coach for the Saints Golf program, his winning record includes a National Championship in 2006 with the Women's Golf team. Since that time he has coached multiple teams with numerous medal wins to their credit. Corriveau is currently the Program Coordinator for the Sport & Recreation Management Program.
