St. Clair College Honours the Schlegel Family
Windsor, Ontario - In a dedication ceremony today, St. Clair College announced the naming of the Schlegel Student Lounge located in the Anthony P. Toldo Centre for Applied Health Sciences. The Schlegel family is one of Canada's leading providers of Long Term Care and Retirement Living. And St. Clair College is one of a handful of Colleges in the province to have a Schlegel built facility on its campus.

The Village at St. Clair opened on campus in September 2014. The partnership between the Schlegel family and the College has grown into a family affair with college students interning and working part time at the Village, while the residents of the Village take advantage of the campus pool, restaurants and student theatre productions.

"Ron Schlegel and his family believe strongly in the power of research and innovation to improve the lives of seniors, which is why they persistently nurture partnerships with colleges and universities," says College President Dr. John Strasser. "The synergy in this type of partnership is extremely powerful."
