St. Clair Saints Celebrate a Number of Wins This Week
Windsor, Ontario - It has been a busy weekend for the Saints and our teams are celebrating a number of wins!

GOLF: The St. Clair men's team came away with the Division II Gold Medals. The Saints finished with a 3 day total of 932 to claim the Championship. Fifth year player Alex Zappio was the top Saint on the day and for the tournament shooting a 79 for a 3 day total of 223 (13 over par) which was good enough to be tied for 10th place overall out of 71 golfers. Other scores for the Saints on Wednesday were Jay Chambers with a 81, Brodie Weaver with an 81, Tyler Leblanc with an 80 and Zach Gervais with an 80. For the team competition five players play each day counting the best four scores.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: The Men's Basketball team were 3-2 at the Dawson College Fall Classic in Montreal, QC this weekend and earned a Bronze Medal. The Saints were 2-2 in pool play qualifying for the Bronze Medal Game versus host Dawson and avenged their earlier loss with a 69-57 victory on Sunday morning.

Saint's Baseball

MEN'S BASEBALL: St. Clair College Men's Baseball team completed a 4-0 weekend in the GTA with a doubleheader sweep of both Humber College (Etobicoke) on Saturday and Durham College (Oshawa) on Sunday. St. Clair bested Humber by scores of 8-7 and 3-1 (9 innings) and Durham by scores of 3-1 and 4-3. St. Clair is now 14-0 on the season and atop the OCAA standings.

WOMEN'S SOFTBALL: The team ended a perfect home stand with a doubleheader sweep of Humber College (Etobicoke) on Sunday at the campus diamond. The Saints were 12-2 winners in a mercy shortened 6 innings in the opener and had to come from behind late in the 2nd game with a 6-5 walk-off victory. Pitcher Allison Telfer (Windsor, ON/FJ Brennan) collected both wins on the mound for St. Clair pushing her season record to 10-4. The Saints are now 14-4 with 6 just games remaining in the OCAA season.

Saint's Soccer

WOMEN'S & MEN'S SOCCER: The men stretched their winning streak to four games by defeating the Conestoga Condors 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Main Campus Field. The Saints are now 4-1-1 on the season and in second place in the OCAA West Division. St. Clair is currently ranked 5th in Ontario. The women's soccer team continued their winning streak by defeating the Conestoga Condors 6-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Main Campus Field.

WOMEN'S SOFTBALL: The lady Saints battled the elements but managed to sweep a doubleheader from visiting Mohawk College (Hamilton) Saturday at the campus diamond by scores of 15-4 and 25-1. With the two mercy shortened victories the Saints are now 12-4 on the season and atop the OCAA standings.

Jordan Lidia, St. Clair
Fifth-year forward Jordan Lidia (Leamington) was a one-man wrecking crew in St. Clair's 4-0 victory at Redeemer. Lidia scored all four goals in the match, and now has seven for the season, the most in OCAA. The former OCAA all-star has accounted for 78 per cent of St. Clair's offensive output to date. After a bumpy start the Saints are now 2-1-1 as they look to keep pace with Fanshawe atop the OCAA west standings.

Mackenzie Noah, St. Clair
St. Clair first-year catcher Mackenzie Noah (Thamesville) provided the game winning RBI at both ends of a doubleheader sweep of Conestoga. In Game 1, Noah's sixth inning bases clearing double accounted for all three Saints runs in a come from behind 3-1 victory. With the scored tied 4-4 in the seventh inning of Game 2 she again had the clutch hit in walk-off fashion to score the winning run for a 5-4 Saints victory.
