From trendy and chic to stylish and sleek, the show featured unique fashion-forward designs from both first and second-year students in the program. The SportsPlex gymnasium was transformed into a modern and contemporary runway, and hundreds packed floor seats and bleachers to feast their eyes on the hip designs.
Several other St. Clair programs were involved in making sure the show went on without a hitch. Opening the show – and a couple of more times throughout the event – Music Theatre Performance students performed some sultry song and dance numbers. Hairstlying and Esthetician students helped beautify the models, and Entertainment Technology students and faculty helped with the production aspect of the show.
The Fashion Design program was launched at St. Clair in 2013, so this year marks the first graduating class.
