Windsor, Ontario - The St. Clair Men's Baseball team were 9-8 walk-off winners in the Gold Medal Game against host Fanshawe College Sunday evening at the OCAA Provincial Championship being played at London's Labatt Memorial Park. Saints DH Jeff Watkin (Tecumseh, ON/General Amherst) led off the inning with a walk and then advanced to 3rd base on a steal attempt and throwing error. Two walks later the bases were loaded for Saints 2nd basemen Casey Boutette (Tecumseh, ON/St. Anne) who moved a grounder to the shortstop and Fanshawe could not make the connection at home plate with Watkin sliding in for the game winning run. Right fielder Tristan Bouchat (Windsor, ON/FJ Brennan) was named St. Clair's Player of the Game going 3 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI's.

Saints pitcher Teiden Frias (Panama City, Panama), catcher Eric Cunningham (Lasalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova) were named to the Championship All-Star team with pitcher Shane Courtney winning the Most Valuable Player Award.
