St. Clair's Patteson Named OCAA Women's Softball Player of the Year
Windsor, ON - St. Clair College's Skyler Patteson was named the 2014 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association women's softball player of the year Thursday evening after a record-breaking season.

The young first baseman from Guelph, Ont., led the OCAA in three key offensive categories. Patteson set a new single-season OCAA record with 34 hits, giving her the OCAA Women's Softball League Batting Chamption title as well. She also led all players with a .523 batting average and 25 RBI. Patteson also scored 18 runs and stole five bases. Miraculously she struck out only once all season.

Patteson is also an OCAA league all-star, along with St. Clair's Alexa Georgiou.
