YIN Yoga is a passive, slow paced yoga practice for all levels & abilities where postures are generally held for 3- 5 minutes at a time. YIN yoga targets connective tissues of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia) to help increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. It is a perfect complement to dynamic strength training and muscular/yang styles of yoga. Come for the stretch and get a lot more including:

  • Stillness: calms and balances the mind and body
  • Stress and anxiety reduction
  • Increased circulation
  • Improved flexibility
  • Fascial release
  • Greater joint mobility
  • Balance to the internal organs and improved flow of chi or prana through meridian stimulation
