Engage in progressive stretch and muscle relaxation exercises that build core strength, while combining breath and movement. We will teach your body to maintain good posture all day long through practice. Relax your mind as you focus your thoughts on only your movement and your breath. You might leave class with a greater sense of contentment, less pain and experience feelings of good health and well-being. Stretches can be done standing, from the floor, or sitting in a chair. The ultimate goal would be to continue to perform the movements learned on a regular basis as part of a healthy lifestyle. All participants will have the opportunity to recommend their favourite relaxation music which can be incorporated into the class.
