This program provides the general theoretical training required by the Ministry of Safety and Correctional Services for individuals wishing to pursue a career in the security industry as security guards or loss prevention personnel. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to write the Provincial Examination for a Security Guard License.  St. Clair College is a Ministry of Safety and Correctional Services approved training entity.

Admission Requirements Criteria
  • Police Clearance must be submitted

Session Details
  • Two nights weekly with one Saturday
  • 20 participants per session
  • 42 hours of theory
  • 8 hours of Emergency First Aid & CPR
Tuition: $400.00 (includes First Aid/CPR Training)
