St. Clair College is offering this effective training to workplace trainers (or others involved in training) to develop the skills needed to ensure success in the Process of Teaching. This self directed course is for trainers without formal training in teaching and curriculum development and who are also involved in workplace teaching. This course is modeled after a provincial college initiative and until recently, only available to teaching faculty of Ontario's colleges.

This course explores different learning theories and how to use them when teaching adults. The major assignment will be to complete an assessment of your own teaching effectiveness. Trainer must be teaching and/or training at some point during the duration of this course. Work at your own pace - you have up to 4 months to complete this course. Tuition fee: $485
