| What to do If You Become
Ill With Influenza-like Illness |

If you are at the College
and you become ill with a flu-like illness, report to the College Health
Centre, put on a mask (provided at the door) and sanitize your hands with
sanitizer provided.

Employees

If you become ill at
home with an influenza-like illness:
- Stay home- do not
come to work.
- Call your department
and report that you have a flu-like illness.
- Call your primary
care practitioner (doctor or nurse practitioner) for further recommendations
for treatment.
- You may return to
work 24 hours after your fever has subsided with a note from your
primary care practitioner stating that you no longer have the
symptoms of an acute illness that is communicable.

| Teachers |
| If your students
arrive in class and are displaying symptoms of flu-like illness, send them
home and have them follow directions below. Report the illness to your departmental
secretary. |
| Students |

If you become ill at
home with an influenza-like illness:

at 519-972-2774 and report that you have a flu-like illness.
- Call your primary
care practitioner (doctor or nurse practitioner) for further recommendations
for treatment.
- You may return to
school 24 hours after your fever has subsided with a note from
your primary care practitioner stating that you no longer have
the symptoms of an acute illness that is communicable.
- Students in residence
must report to your RA so that appropriate measures can be taken.
