Swim Ontario is a non-profit sports governing body responsible for the organization and regulation of amateur swimming in Ontario (province in Canada). Swim Ontario promotes excellence by structuring, regulating and supporting programs, which encourage the maximum development of each individual swimmer. It is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and its policies are administered by a full-time professional staff located at the Sport Alliance of Ontario building in Toronto.

SEARS I Can Swim
Each SEARS I can Swim program participant becomes a member of Swimming/Natation Canada (the national sport governing body of swimming for 90 years). Swim Educators Inc is a non profit organization managed by Lindsay Park Sports Society and Swim Canada. Our mission is to promote positive, active, healthy lifestyles through programs that encourage participation, fun and success.

Aquatic Sport Council of Ontario
The Aquatic Sport Council of Ontario aims to promote a greater general understanding of overall design concepts, an appreciation of technical issues and the critical factors that need to be considered in reaching the appropriate solution for a particular project. The Aquatic Sport Council of Ontario can also advise where further information, advice and expertise may be found and point to benchmark examples. This site is fundamental to ensuring:
  • Increased awareness of good design in sports facilities.
  • Accurate information about the facility specifications required for competition in each aquatic sport.

  • Windsor Aquatic Club
    Windsor Aquatic Club uses a progressive age group program designed to develop the swimmer physically, mentally and emotionally in a systematic fashion. The emphasis in the early stages is placed on developing technical skills and a love for the sport. In the later years, a more demanding physical and psychological challenge is introduced to the training program.

    Windsor Essex Swim Team
    The registration period covers September 1st through August 31st. All swimmers must register with Swim Ontario. There are three categories of swimmers: competitive, entry level (pre-competitive) and sessional Competitive Swimmers may compete in sanctioned competitions. Competitive swimmers may not move down and register as Entry Level. Swimmers may be upgraded from Entry Level to Competitive at any time; however, the difference in fees must be paid.
