The First Aid & CPR programs are not restricted to aquatic candidates only. You can use the Lifesaving Society's first aid awards all recreation staff (camp, playground, maintenance, etc.) post-secondary educational programs and the general public.
Emergency First Aid is for people who want a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include: victim assessment, rescue breathing, CPR, choking and what to do for external bleeding, heart attack and stroke. Includes CPR-B certification. Recognized by Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board. A certification card will be issued upon successful completion.

The Lifesaving Society's Standard First Aid course provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. In this 2 day course candidates will learn about victim assessment, rescue breathing, CPR, choking, spinals injuries, heat/cold injuries, bone/joint injuries, burns and much more. A written test will be administered at the end of the course. A certification card will be issued upon successful completion.
